The GIF you choose is the #1 thing that decides your final file size. KLIPY's gallery clips are already small and optimized. If you paste your own, a long or high-resolution GIF will make a large card — even on the smallest size setting.
Many of these come from my old collection, The GIFs I Wanted ↗. Some are larger and higher quality than KLIPY's gifs — they look great, but they'll make bigger cards. You can also go to the Tumblr directly, right-click to get the direct link, and paste it in Paste Your Own if you don't see the one you want here.

Gifs are everywhere and for many of us they are sometimes how we communicate exclusively online. I created this for myself and my tabletop friends to use in our Discord group. I thought they were fun and thought maybe others would enjoy making them as well so I created GifDeck for public use.
It's not meant to be super fancy or complicated. It's just a fun little tool that I hope people get some enjoyment out of.
Please do not use this tool to make offensive or harmful gifs to harm, harass, troll or otherwise bring negativity into the world. We have enough of that already. If I find too many people abusing this I will just make it private again.

Nope. Make a card and download it — no login necessary.
Not at the moment. I don't allow uploads at this time as I don't have the space to host tons and tons of custom GIFs. For now you can search the built-in picker (powered by KLIPY), choose one from my personal collection that I have made over the years (https://thegifsiwanted.tumblr.com) or paste a link to your own GIF from a trusted source.
Not yet — for now you download each card as you make it. If this proves popular and people request it then I may figure out some kind of paid tier for hosting and saving custom decks or something like that.
Right now it's not a priority. You can use something like https://ezgif.com/gif-to-mp4 if you really want that functionality.
